Centre Point invites all guests to join us at the premier Mango Party! This special event will be held for the first time during Summer 2018. It’s a special occasion to celebrate and show appreciation to our guests while blending in a bit of Thai culture. Be ready to feast on a variety of Mango dishes at this complimentary event.
Centre Point operates five distinct locations around Thailand. Each property will have their own Mango party celebration for their guests. The Mango party is a chance to mingle with other guests at the property and enjoy some of the local Thai favorite Mango dishes. Guests will be served options including Mango with Sticky Rice, Mango Pudding, Mango Shakes, Mango Shakes with Yogurt, and Mango Shakes with Sako, which is a Chinese Pearl Jelly. These Mango options will be a perfect way to cool off in the hot, summer Thailand heat. Feel free to try one or try them all, as mangos are very popular in Thailand.
Mangos are a very unique fruit in Thailand and definitely one of the most popular throughout the entire country. You can find mangos virtually anywhere in Thailand, from street vendors to markets, and even upscale restaurants. Mangos are served a variety of ways and are diverse in appearance and flavor.
You can enjoy mangos as a quick snack or even have a main meal created from the fruit. Mango Sticky rice, which will be one of the dishes served at the Centre Point Mango Party, is known around the world as one of the most famous traditional Thai dishes. Other dishes include Mangos in its natural fruit style or mango-flavored dishes, which you will also get a chance to try at the event.
Mangos have long been a part of Thailand’s history. It’s one of the country’s main fruits. Manogos are found on mango trees which need tropical climate, such as that of Thailand, to grow. The trees produce once per year. This season is referred to as Mango season in Thailand which occurs during the summer months. The peak of this time is April and May for production. In fact, Thailand is the third largest exporter of mangos in the entire world. What better place to enjoy mangos than Thailand!
The Thai name for mango is “ma-muang”. Thailand produces hundreds mangos of all types, varying in color, shape, size, and taste. They have been enjoyed for generations because of their great flavor and even health benefits.

- Centre Point Chidlom will be Friday, March 30, 2018.
- Centre Point Pratunam will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018.
- Centre Point Sukhumvit will be held Saturday, April 12, 2018.
- Centre Point Silom will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018.
