Pattaya Beach is another popular option for viewing the fireworks, be sure to arrive early and bring a chair or blanket to sit on as you wait for the show to begin. Nearby beach bars are another option for a night out with a spectacular view at midnight.

Walking Street is an easy and popular option for a night of partying on New Year’s Eve. Stroll down the street and find whichever club or bar suits your taste — there are dozens upon dozens of options. 808, Mixx Discotheque, and Club Insomnia are just a few well-known options for dancing the night away.

For lower-key nightlife, try the bars and restaurants on the east side of town. Cabbages & Condoms is a friendly extension of the Bangkok location, with bars like Miggu’s and Sawasdee Pew Bar in the same neighborhood.
