Although the area surrounding Centre Point Silom is well known for shopping, dining, and cultural activities, there are also places to visit where you can enjoy nature and take some welcome exercise at the same time. A short distance from our hotel is the world-famous Bangkok Riverside, where there are numerous walking routes you can enjoy while taking in the majesty of the mighty Chao Phraya River. If you look hard enough, you may be lucky enough to find little hidden riverside paths that are only generally used by locals as they go about their daily business. Riverside guided walking tours are also available, so keep an eye out for billboards advertising walks at various times of the day. Perhaps one of the most popular venues for those who like to get out into the great outdoors is the Chao Phraya Sky Park. Located in the Wang Burapha Phirom Subdistrict, this park features a pedestrian and cycle path that visitors can either walk, cycle, or even run along. There are plenty of natural attractions to enjoy in the park as well, including the Chao Phraya Floating Gardens and a number of spectacular viewpoints. The park is open from 0500-2000 hrs daily, so starting or ending your day with a welcome boost of fresh air and greenery is easily doable.
If fresh air and the stunning Chao Phraya Sky sound like something you would like to experience the next time you visit Bangkok, booking directly with Centre Point Silom is the best possible choice. We promise you #alwaysagoodtime!
