But where should you spend Thai Children's Day in Sukhumvit?

This Bangkok district is famous for its spectacular shopping experiences as well as its varied and fantastic cuisine.  The main road is probably most famous for its nightlife as well as its exclusive commercial spaces.  But what is it that makes the area such a great place to visit on National Children’s Day?

If you’re new to Sukhumvit, you are going to want to visit Emporium and EmQuartier.  A colossal, multi-storey shopping mall, EmQuartier is perhaps one of the best-known and best-loved names in retail therapy in the whole of the capital.  That’s a massive accolade!

But how does this all tie in with Thai Children’s Day?  Well – on the second Saturday of January, EM District play host to a number of big events and games for the whole family to get stuck into.  It’s all part of a nationwide holiday.  Children’s Day is not just a great chance for families to come together for fun.  It’s all about encouraging young people to explore and to look forward to bright futures!

If you’re ever planning a trip to Bangkok, it’s always worth checking out upcoming events and celebrations.  Emporium and EmQuartier’s 2020 celebration offers up five unique, exciting play zones for kids to explore.  From dinosaurs and archaeology to Lego displays, there’s plenty for younger children to get into.

The malls will also show off an exclusive Paw Patrol exhibit, as well as Animal World.  Here, visitors can learn more about Eastern beasts as well as international critters.  The malls set up for educational fun and games each January.  If 2020’s array of activities are anything to go by, 2021 should be even more exciting!
