What is ASQ at Centre Point

Do you know that Thais who are abroad or foreigners who would like to travel back to Thailand can come to Thailand? But they still have to go through COVID-19 screening checkpoints and are required to quarantine for another 14 days in facilities provided by the government. However, if you do not want to be in quarantine areas prepared by the government, you can make reservations at quarantine hotels.

We will call the quarantine hotels as “ASQ Hotels” or “Alternative State Quarantine”. ASQ hotels are hotels where incoming travelers can stay during quarantine. However, travelers have to pay for expenses themselves.

ASQ hotels are required to meet public health standard testing by the government sector and have private rooms, bathrooms, amenities, serving 3 meals per day, and transportation to the airport. As though you are staying at a full-scale hotel during quarantine, but there is only one exception where quarantined guests cannot travel from designated areas.
