A more intimate option for Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve would be one of Bangkok’s many rooftop restaurants and bars. Have a romantic dinner or drinks as you reflect on the year past and the year ahead. Stay for the countdown to midnight on New Year’s Eve for spectacular panorama views of the city, including fireworks displays from a totally new perspective!

Above Eleven is one nearby option, offering a special 5-course dinner and countdown party with spectacular views of the fireworks. Around the corner, L’Appart offers French fine dining with penthouse views. And Bangkok Heightz just off of Sukhumvit Road is a sleek, modern restaurant with city views. Whatever you choose, dinner reservations are a must and many venues will have ticketed entrance for their New Year’s Eve countdown. 

Clubs and Bars

Of course, some of us are searching for something high-energy for our New Year’s eve, and you have many options in Sukhumvit for a party-filled New Year’s Eve. Levels Club draws an international crowd with live bands, DJs, and a unique vibe on each floor of the club. Titanium Club is another nearby option, smaller but with a better view of the band.

Bangkok’s streets are filled with revelers on New Year’s eve, so you can always opt to have dinner and then walk around the neighborhood to find a bar or club that suits your fancy.
