As one of the busiest and most interesting neighbourhoods in Bangkok, there are so many people travelling to Pratunam! We’re pleased to have set up Centre Point accommodation in this area, as it’s a mecca for discount clothes and electronics shopping. You’ll find a Centre Point Hotel Pratunam close to all the shops, amenities and taste experiences you’ve read about online!
However, it is also a good idea that you make sure you are covered in terms of getting to us. If you have never been to Bangkok before, getting around can seem daunting. However, we’ve made it easy for our future guests to plan their journeys and stays with us in advance. Here is our guide to travelling to and from our Pratunam accommodation.
How Far is Centre Point Hotel Pratunam From the Local Airports?
If you're travelling from overseas, chances are you are going to want to know how to get to us from the local airports. You will likely be flying into either Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Muang Airport. Here's a breakdown of what to expect when you arrive at either of the main terminals.
Travelling from Suvarnabhumi Airport
If you’re heading to Pratunam via Suvarnabhumi, the easiest way is the Airport Rail Link which goes from the airport all the way to Phaya Thai, and from there, once you have connected to the BTS skytrain, you’ll need to travel one stop to the station at Ratchathewi. This is the closest skytrain station to our hotel, and the good news is that you won’t have to walk very far from there to get to us. Take exit number four and walk around 800m to reach Centre Point Hotel Pratunam. That should take around 10 minutes.
If you are driving to the hotel, there are expressway tolls through this route which will cost you 200 BHT. Go via taxi, and expect to pay 500 BHT. Take a Sedan car, and you will need to pay 1200 BHT, and charges increase to 1650 BHT if you use a van. It is worth planning for these charges in advance to avoid confusion.
Travelling from Don Muang Airport
Don Muang Airport has no airport rail link, so taking a taxi or bus to Mo Chit BTS station is our recommended option. Be sure to take a taxi from outside the airport or an A1 bus. The bus should cost no more than 30 BHT. If you do take the bus, make sure to get off at Mo Chit skytrain station, which will connect you to the BTS. Once again, go to the BTS station at Ratchathewi, and you will have only a short walk of 800m to our hotel.
Again, there are other ways to get to us if you’d prefer not to use buses or trains. You can take a taxi for 300 BHT, or you can head down the expressway with a toll of 80 BHT. Choose to take a van, and you’ll pay around 1650 BHT as standard. A fee of 1200 BHT should apply if you take a Sedan car instead.
